چکیده

Purpose: To adapt the non-uniform Self-Gating (nuSG) method and compare it to established self-gating approaches for lung imaging in uniform highly irregular respiratory patterns. Methods: Six healthy volunteers underwent free breathing MRI using a radial tiny golden angle ultrashort echo-time sequence. Acquisitions were performed with volunteer as uniformly possible deliberately pattern. The acquired data was reconstructed nuSG method, previously introduced cardiac of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) compared k-space based image-based approaches. Residual motion blur, SNR functional values assessed reference breath-hold acquisitions. Results: is capable reconstructing high-quality images patterns furthermore resolving cases where additional superimposed or no clear surrogate exists. Derived do not differ significantly from other gated reconstructions - case replicate BH values. Conclusion: Image are computationally more demanding but yield better results all aspects. In scenarios direct (i.e. lung-liver interface) extraction one-dimensional navigator sufficient. When there target structure available (e.g., considerable through-plane different source motion), two-dimensional correlation-based measure used able track accurately.

The Efficiency of Respiratory-gated 18F-FDG PET/CT in Lung Adenocarcinoma: Amplitude-gating Versus Phase-gating Methods

Objective(s): In positron emission tomography (PET) studies, thoracic movement under free-breathing conditions is a cause of image degradation. Respiratory gating (RG) is commonly used to solve this problem. Two different methods, i.e., phase-gating (PG) and amplitude-gating (AG) PET, are available for respiratory gating. It is important to know the strengths and weaknesses of both methods when...

Non-uniform to Uniform Image Resampling Utilizing a 2d Farrow Structure

We consider the problem of non-uniform to uniform resampling of images as a problem of reconstruction of 2D continuous function out of non-uniformly distributed samples and its subsequent sampling at the desired grid. The function is assumed to belong to a shift-invariant space with a suitable space-generating basis, e.g. tensor-product splines. A classical approach is to find the corresponding...

Determining the Hydro-acoustic Characteristics of the Ship Propeller in Uniform and Non-uniform Flow

This research has been carried out to determine the marine propeller hydro-acoustic characteristics by Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) solver in both uniform and non-uniform wake flow at different operating conditions Wake flow can cause changes in pressure fluctuation and gas effect on propeller noise spectrum. Noise is generated by the induced trailing vortex wake and induced pressure ...

Embedding of a 2D Graphene System in Non-Commutative Space

The BFT approach is used to formulate the electronic states in graphene through a non-commutative space in the presence of a constant magnetic field B for the first time. In this regard, we introduce a second class of constrained system, which is not gauge symmetric but by applying BFT method and extending phase space, the second class constraints  converts  to the first class constraints so th...
